Dramatic Women Auditions

"Bedtime in Detroit" is a romantic comedy set in an old firehouse, amid the wreckage of a great American city down on its luck, but full of wild possibilities.  It explores the past, present and future of an ex-motorcycle racer and the woman who has made another life for herself, but refuses to let him go.

AUDITIONS – SATURDAY FEBRUARY 6

• Audition will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at UCSB Girvetz Theatre (Girvetz Hall 1004)

• 18-30 year old female
• 40-60 year old male
• 20-35 year old male, specifically African American

Additional Instructions

Please arrive on time, ready to spend no more than 10 minutes filling out paper work. Check your calendar so that you can fill in possible conflicts regarding rehearsal times.

You will be assigned cold reads from the play and placed in scenes with other auditionees; plan on staying 3 hours, though you may be able to leave before 1 p.m.  If necessary there will be a further callback on Sunday February 7.

Performance Dates

Performances of BEDTIME IN DETROIT will take place March 26-27 and April 1-3 at Center Stage Theater, Santa Barbara.
